Rhododendron honey is almost colorless in its liquid state and becomes light beige when it crystallizes. It has a very light scent and a sweet, fine and not very persistent flavour. It is produced in the regions of the Italian Alps, from Friuli-Venezia Giulia to the Aosta Valley, but in very limited quantities, which is why it is considered a niche product.
